Overstrand is about taking a step back in time...
Overstrand was once known as the millionaires village - indeed, this was where the victorians used to come to "take the sea air ". Winston Churchill himself used to holiday here and stay at the Pear Tree Cottage in the famous Londs.
You can still watch the local fishermen do as their ancestors did before them, and bring in their daily catch of fresh lobsters and crabs up the promenade.
There are truly magnificent views from the the cliffs - this is a bird watchers & walkers paradise. Golfers are well catered for, we're literally a few hundred yards away from the Royal Cromer golf course. There are miles of golden sandy beaches with awesome sunrises & sunsets.
The village itself provides most needs with a Cliff Top Café, central village store, Post Office with cash machine, vets, public house, garden centre, childrens play area, village bowls & cricket green which hosts a weekly car boot sale on Thursdays. All of this whilst still being only a short distance from Cromer.
